This place, actually called Armação dos Búzios is a charming resort city located 105 milles far from Rio de Janeiro, the capital of the state which has the same name.

Although the capital is one of the most famous brazilian cities(due to samba and Carnaval), Búzios is a great choice for those who would like enjoying a charming, peaceful and beautiful city and also nice beaches.

It´s population is about 25 thousand people living in this place which, at the beggining, was originally settled by pirates and slave traders.

This is a nice destination if you are looking for a peaceful spot into Brazilian coast. Morro de São Paulo is an island located at northeast region of the country and, besides the nice landscape you can see the Lighthouse on the picture above, you will find nice and gentle people there.

I was fortunate to visit this amazing place around 1 year ago and its impossible to take it out of my memory. There were lots of tourists from around the world, all amazed by that great place and marvelous hotel.

Poker is one of my passions but Brasil is famous for many other things, like our 4,000+ Km's of beaches but most of all; for inventing the bikini, maybe even more so for our greatest export - beautiful women!

In an effort to make this blog more enjoyable for my readers, I plan to share stories and photos about my fabulous lifestyle, between Poker Tournaments. In my country we're taught that play is as important as work, well fortunately for me, poker is play but still a day on a hot tropical beach with beautiful women in bikini is more interesting than, say, winning a few thousand dollars in an all night poker game. Still, there will be time enough for both topics on Poker Brasileiro.
